POLICE LOG: Dog Jumps in Car With Woman, Bites Man

At 1:55 p.m. July 8, Stoneham police called to the area of Broadway and MacArthur Road for a report of a dog bite. A woman reported that a dog jumped into her car, and when she tried to get the dog out of the vehicle the dog bit a man on scene. An officer was to document the incident and forward to the animal control officer.

@2:21 a.m.: Police responded to a Mountain View Drive apartment for a report of a past breaking and entering. Police to file a report.

@4:49 a.m.: Police called to the area of Erickson Street and North Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries or tows reported.

@7:36 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street on a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later found near a Dumpster by the at Redstone Shopping Center.

@12:53 p.m.: Police called to Main Street for a report of a stolen wallet. Police took a report.

@3:48 p.m.: Police responded to Union Street for a report of a hypodermic needle found near a bike shop. The needle was recovered and disposed of properly.

@9:46 p.m.: Police responded to Crosby Street for a report of fireworks. The party was warned twice in the same night to stop using fireworks. Police noted that if they were called to that house again, the homeowner would be summonsed.

@10:31 p.m.: Police called to the Fairview Road area for a report of fireworks. No fireworks were found on Fairview Road, but officers did locate them on Buttonwood Road. The party agreed to stop for the night.

July 8

@9:52 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. One person was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
