POLICE LOG: Former Stoneham Resident Arrested in Revere

Here's a look at the Stoneham Police activity for Friday and Saturday of last week.

Friday, July 13

@10:10 a.m.: Police responded to an unidentified Stoneham "student" at Campus Academy on 25 Williams St. who turned over an unidentified illegal substance to police.

At 7:21 p.m.: Police in Revere arrested former Stoneham resident Melvin Myers, 48, of 2 Beach Land Ave., Revere, for violation of an abuse prevention order for allegedly failing to report to a jury notice summons while living in town.

Saturday, July 14

@7:53 p.m.: Police responded to 11 Oak St. where a report of hand-to-hand drug trafficking was reported. An officer was on scene but found no evidence of any such activity.
