POLICE LOG: GPS Units, Money Stolen From Several Unlocked Cars on Campbell Road

On May 24, Stoneham Police responded to several reports of car break-ins on Campbell Road. Here's a look at the different calls handled by officers that day:

  • @7:43 a.m.: Nothing was taken, but someone did enter an unlocked vehicle and noticed.
  • @8:22 a.m.: A man reports his two vehicles were ransacked and a GPS unit and wallet were stolen from the glove box.
  • @8:27 a.m.: An unlocked vehicle was ransacked overnight, but it's unclear if anything was stolen.
  • @9:01 a.m.: A vehicle was ransacked and loose change was taken.
  • @9:03 a.m.: A GPS was stolen from a vehicle.
  • @6:57 p.m.: Police receive a report of a past breaking and entering. A GPS was reportedly taken from a vehicle.

@7:48 a.m.: Police called to Beacon Street for a report of a vehicular hit and run. The victim claims someone hit his vehicle and took off. The suspect's vehicle was possibly a white Acura. The incident was determined to have taken place in Wakefield and victim told police they would contact Wakefield Police Department.

@8:13 a.m.: Police respond to the area of Main Street and Montvale Avenue on a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. No injuries or tows reported.

@8:55 a.m.: Police called to Fallon Road on a report of a past breaking and entering into a building. Police to investigate.

@10:07 a.m.: Police respond to Woodland Road for a report of larceny from a bank account. A report was taken.

@10:38 a.m.: Police called to Montvale Avenue on a report of hypodermic needles found by the Sheriff's Department. The needles were recovered by police and properly disposed of.

@5:16 p.m.: Police called to St. Patrick Cemetery on Elm Street for a report of dogs defecating on graves. The woman denied the incident, claiming she always picks up after her animals.

@1:15 p.m.: Police respond to Nixon Lane on a report of a duck stuck in a drain. The duck was later freed.
