POLICE LOG: Hubcaps Stolen From Vehicle in BJ's Parking Lot

At 2:45 p.m. May 6, Stoneham police responded to BJ's, 85 Cedar St., for a report of hubcaps stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot. The stolen hubcaps were reportedly valued at about $250. Police to investigate.

@2:39 p.m.: Police and respond to a box alarm activation on Washington Street following a report of heavy smoke coming from a gray house. No fire was discovered, as the smoke came from a lawnmower being used at the site.
