POLICE LOG: Hypodermic Needle Found at BJ's Wholesale Club

At 7:13 p.m. July 28, Stoneham police called to BJ's Wholesale Club for a report of hypodermic needle found at the property. The item was recovered.

@9:42 a.m.: Police called to the area of Main and South Streets for a report of a minor motor vehicle. Parties exchanged information.

@4:50 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. One patient refused treatment.

@6:52 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash. A report was taken.

@10:59 p.m.: Police responded Mountain View Drive for a report of fireworks. Two kids reportedly were setting off fireworks; however, they could not be found in the area.

@11:31 p.m.: Police called to Calthea Street for a report of fireworks in the ball park. All quiet at the scene.

July 28

@2:19 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Route 93 northbound and Spot Pond for a report of a possible brush fire. Smoke was reported in the area. The fire was located and extinguished.

@7:27 p.m.: Police called to the area of Cricklewood Drive and Spring Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. One patient refused treatment. One vehicle towed. Officer to file a report.

@11:36 p.m.: Police responded to Elm Street on a report for a motor vehicle crash. One tow reported. No injuries.

July 29

@9:06 p.m.: Police called to Atwood Avenue on a report of found property. A blue Huffy Ultra Terrain Shock Bike was recovered.

July 30

@1:12 a.m.: Police responded to Warren Street for a report of drug use. The caller reported he used drugs and wasn't doing well. An ambulance transported him to Winchester Hospital.
