POLICE LOG: Malden Woman Arrested on Several Warrants

At 7:13 p.m. April 24, Stoneham police responded to a Duncklee Avenue apartment for a report of an unwanted guest. The caller told police they had invited the guest, but no longer wanted them there and they refused to leave. Patricia Prior, 66, of 25 Joy Terrace, Malden, was arrested on several warrants charging her with four counts of malicious destruction of property of more than $250, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a person over the age of 60.

@8:51 a.m.: Police called to the area of Maple and Wright Streets for a motor vehicle accident. A tow truck was called to the scene. One person declined medical treatment.

@6:03 p.m.: Police respond to Spring Street for a report of a motor vehicle fire. The fire was away from the residence and the vehicle was fully involved. The fire was extinguished by 6:26 p.m.

April 24

@8:41 a.m.: Police respond to the area of Main Street and Summer Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. A truck struck a signal control post. No one was injured in the crash. DPW notified.

@2:43 p.m.: Police respond to the U.S. Post Office on Main Street for a report of a counterfeit $5 bill received at that location. Police to investigate.

@11:10 p.m.: Police called to Five Guys Burgers and Fries to check on a suspicious person. A man wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and dark pants reportedly tried to steal several hot dog packages. No arrest made.

April 25

@8:11 p.m.: Police called to a Pond Street residence on a report of a raccoon found on the second floor. The animal was removed.
