POLICE LOG: Officers Investigate Driveway Scam on North Street

At 9:50 a.m. June 5, police were called to North Street on a report of a past larceny in a driveway scam. Police going to for follow up for possible IDs of the suspects. Report taken.

@3:44 p.m.: Police called to Franklin Street for a report of harassment. The caller reported multiple harassing texts from their neighbor.

@4:05 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Maple and Wright Streets for a report of a motor vehicle crash. No injuries or tows reported. A stop sign at the intersection was damaged.

@5:35 p.m.: Police called to the area of Ravine Road and Woodland Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. State Police barracks in Wellington notified. Captain reported no injuries.

@10:42 p.m.: Police responded to Whittemore Lane for a report of a box alarm activation. The caller reported an odor of combustilbles. The group was told to vacate the premises. A delayed ignition was reported. The system was shut down. The box alarm was recalled at 10:51 p.m.

June 5

@2:27 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a vehicular hit-and-run. The caller reported a vehicle hit a handicap railing and left the area.

@3:24 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a two-car crash. No injuries or tows reported.

@5:59 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a minor motor vehicle crash.
