POLICE LOG: Officers Search for Naked Man Covered in Shaving Cream at Stoneham Apartment Complex

On Feb. 16 at 4:03 a.m., Stoneham Police were called to a Stonehill Drive apartment on a report of a naked Hispanic man in the hallway covered in shaving cream; however, the man could not be located and the report was unfounded. The alleged victim was told to inquire about getting security cameras in the building.

@7:36 a.m.: Police called to the area of Spring Street and Washington Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. No tows or injuries reported.

@1:09 p.m.: Police respond to Spencer Street on a report of a hit and run. Police to investigate.

@1:09 p.m.: Police called to Ferdinand Street on a report of past financial crimes. A woman alleges she had money stolen from her checking account. Her ex-husband is reportedly a suspect. Detectives to investigate.

@8:06 p.m.: Police called to the area of Elm Street and Washington Street on a report of vandalism. The victim claims their rear window was smashed with a paintball. Police to investigate.

@10:05 a.m.: Police called to Woodland Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle towed from the scene.

@3:15 p.m.: Police respond to Montvale Avenue for two-car accident. No injuries or tows reported.

@3:22 p.m.: Police called to High Street for a report of a stolen mailbox. Police to investigate.

Feb. 10

@11:30 a.m.: Police respond to Forest Street on a report of three hypodermic needles found in the area. All three items were recovered and disposed of properly by an officer.

Feb. 12

@12:34 p.m.: Police called to Franklin Street for a report of vandalism. A homeowner reported that someone threw a bottle at their front door and dented it sometime after 10 p.m. Feb. 11. Police to investigate.

@12:40 p.m.: Police respond to a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle. A vehicle's window was smashed overnight. Police to investigate.

@12:45 p.m.: Police called to Stevens Street on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim allegedly left the vehicle in the area Feb. 10 around 6 p.m. and when they eventually returned it was gone. Police to investigate.

Feb. 13

@7:38 a.m.: Police called to the area of Green Street and Spring Street on a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. Papers exchanged. No injuries reported.

@2:25 p.m.: Two people are reportedly stuck, and later freed, in an elevator at Cummings Properties. They were reportedly stuck between the second and third floors. Elevator taken out of service until maintenance repairs it.

@4:54 p.m.: Police called to Main Street for a report of an unknown disturbance. Manuel Martinez, 31, of 583 Main St., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

@9:05 p.m.: Police respond to Redstone Shopping Center on a report of a past breaking and entering into a vehicle while parked near . Police to investigate.

Feb. 14

@6:26 a.m.: Police called to Stonehill Drive on a report of a motor vehicle accident. One vehicle was located on an embankment, while three tows were required and one person treated for minor injuries.

@12:43 p.m.: Police provide mutual aid to Burlington during incident at Kohl's. Officers assisted with staging at Middlesex at Lexington Street.

@12:56 p.m.: Police called to Benton Street on a report of a woman being assaulted by another woman. Kathleen Mason, of 11 Congress St., Stoneham, was arrested on warrants charging her with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, motor vehicle operator refusing to identify herself and a speeding violation.

@3:53 p.m.: Police received a report from a girl's mother about her daughter's cell phone being taken from a locker at . Police to investigate.

@10:06 p.m.: Police called to Tamarock Terrace for a report of neighbor's dog relieving himself on his property. Problem was resolved.

Feb. 15

@7:11 p.m.: Police called to Peabody Road on a report of identification theft through a filing to the IRS. Log entry only.

Feb. 16

@7:44 a.m.: Police respond to the area of Spring and Washington Streets for a report of a minor motor vehicle crash. Parties exchanged paperwork, and were leaving on arrival. No injuries reported.

@10:34 a.m.: Police called to the area of Brackett Avenue and Garden Road for a report of a hypodermic needle found in the area. The item was recovered and disposed of properly by an officer.

@2:03 p.m.: Police called to Sparhawk Circle on a report that a woman's money was stolen through the use of her ATM and credit cards. Police to investigate.

@8:16 p.m.: Police respond to a Marble Street apartment for a report of a past larceny. Jewelry was reportedly stolen from a woman. Police to investigate.

@10:56 p.m.: Police called to a Central Street apartment on a report of a fire in the cellar, possibly started by a dryer. The box alarm was later recalled.

Feb. 17

@12:28 a.m.: Police respond to San Jose Terrace on a domestic call. Joseph Ulanday, 47, of 20 San Jose Terrace, Stoneham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery. The alleged victim reportedly collected her stuff and left the home.

@11:07 a.m.: Police called to Sunrise Avenue on a report that a dog's owner was not cleaning up after the dog defecated in the area.

Feb. 18

@12:27 p.m.: Police respond to a box alarm activation for a reported kitchen fire at a Brookbridge Road home. Homeowner extinguished the stove fire. Box recalled at 12:39 p.m.

@1:34 p.m.: At the Police Station, Thomas Senesi, 29, of 22 Graystone Road, Stoneham, was arrested on a warrant charging him with having an uninsured motor vehicle/trailer.

@9:34 p.m.: Police called to Redstone Shopping Center parking lot on a report of a hit and run. A worker's vehicle reportedly sustained significant damage to the passenger side door.

@11:36 p.m.: Police called to Ravine Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Two men fled one of the vehicles into the woods. State Police notified. One person was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington. State Police handling the investigation.

Feb. 19

@11:51 a.m.: Police respond to a Gould Street apartment on a report of a past hit and run. A man's vehicle was reportedly struck while parked in the area by a Massachusetts vehicle. Log entry only for insurance purposes.

@2:48 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Two vehicles towed from the scene. No EMS needed.

Feb. 20

@8:42 a.m.: Police called to on a report of a gas leak. National Grid was notified and the owner as well. The building was evacuated. Entry was gained to the restaurant, and a burner was found left on. The building was ventilated. No injuries reported.

@5:34 p.m.: Police respond to Hanford Road on a report of a possible past breaking and entering. Police to investigate.

@7:46 p.m.: Police called to Spring Street on a report of fraud. The IRS contacted the man, only to learn his identity was falsely used for tax filing purporses. Log entry only.
