POLICE LOG: Several Vehicles Broken into in Stoneham

On Feb. 28, Stoneham Police received eight calls for breaking and entering into vehicles, including five at Gorham Avenue, two at Pearl Street and one at Campbell Road. Seven vehicles were broken into on Gorham Avenue, while two vehicles were entered on Pearl Street and Campbell Road, respectively. Police said some electronics were taken from vehicles such as GPS units. Police are currently investigating the incidents and no arrests have been reported.

@7:02 a.m.: Police called to Pearl Street for a report of a breaking and entering into a vehicle. No items reported stolen. Police to investigate.

@8:22 a.m.: Police respond to Gorham Avenue for a report of a breaking and entering into a vehicle. No items reported stolen.
@8:31 a.m.: Police called to Gorham Avenue on a report of two vehicles broken into. No items reported stolen. Police to investigate.
@8:43 a.m.: Police respond to Pearl Street for a report of a breaking and entering. Vehicle reportedly broken into sometime after 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 27. Police to investigate.
@9:13 a.m.: Police called to Campbell Road on a report of a breaking and entering. Vehicles reportedly broken into after 6 p.m. on Feb. 27. Police to investigate.
@9:18 a.m.: Police respond to the Old Burial Ground on Pleasant Street for a report of hypodermic needles found on the ground. The items were recovered and disposed of properly by an officer.
@12:37 p.m.: Police called to on a report of 12 unauthorized transactions made on Feb. 27 using a woman's debit card. The transactions were made out of the country. No investigation to follow, as the call was for log entry purposes only.
@2:53 p.m.: Police respond to Gorham Avenue on a report of two vehicles broken into. Police to investigate.
@6:04 p.m.: Police called to Gorham Avenue on a report of breaking and entering into a vehicle. No items reportedly stolen. Log entry only.
@10:59 p.m.: Police respond to Gorham Avenue on a report of breaking and entering into a vehicle. Police to investigate.
Feb. 29
@6:04 a.m.: Police called to Green Street on a report of a barking dog outside. The animal control officer was notified. The homeowner was contacted and the dog was brought inside.
