Police Log: Stolen Vehicle Recovered From Stoneham Boys & Girls Club

At 9:08 a.m. Aug. 24, Stoneham police responded to the parking lot for a report of a recovered stolen motor vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, which had a Massachusetts registration, near a Dumpster. A tow company was notified, as well as Everett Police Department.

@8:33 p.m.: Police called to on South Street for a report of a disturbance. A 911 caller reported a disturbance with a cabbie and a customer failing to pay the fare. The cabbie and suspect were seen at Franklin Street at Main Street. The suspect went to the police station to be questioned. No arrest reported. Police to file a report.

@8:36 a.m.: Police responded to Calthea Street on a report of two bicycles stolen. Police to file a report.

@12:30 p.m.: Police called to for a report of a larceny overnight. Police filed a report.

@1:56 p.m.: Police responded to the Stevens Recycling Center on Stevens Street for a report of a past larceny of scrap air conditioners from the facility.

@5:03 p.m.: Police called to the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham for a report of a larceny. A female reported her iPhone was taken from her locker, according to police. Police filed a report.

@5:59 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Interstate 93 northbound and Montvale Avenue for a report of a two-car crash. No hospital transports or tows noted in the log.

@7:19 p.m.: Police called to a Leisure Lane apartment for a report of a past larceny of jewelry. Police to file a report.
