POLICE LOG: Stoneham Officers, NSTAR Respond to Transformer Fire

At 7:53 p.m. on March 8, Stoneham Police were called to the area of Hancock Street and Park Street on a report of a transformer explosion. NSTAR was already on scene and the fire was extinguished upon arrival.

@9:08 a.m.: Police are unable to located a loose German shepherd in the area of Franklin and Summer Streets. Dog has tags and a collar.

@10:34 a.m.: A person's license plate was reportedly stolen while parked on Franklin Street. Police to investigate.

@3:01 p.m.: Police recover and dispose of three hypodermic needles from the area of Pine Street and Pleasant Street.

@6:35 p.m.: Police respond to the area of Graystone Road and Main Street for a report of kids throwing a traffic barrel at passing vehicles. The kids could not be located in the area.
