POLICE LOG: Stoneham Police Recover Bullet from Side of the Road

At 9:39 a.m. April 12, Stoneham police responded to the area of Spring and Washington Streets after being flagged down by a person who reportedly found a bullet on the side of the road. The bullet was brough to the station and placed in the evidence room.

@12:22 p.m.: Police respond to Hancock Street for a report of an unauthorized attempt to open a line of credit at a local business.

@11:23 p.m.: Police called to Erickson Street on a report of an odor of smoke in the area. Mulch around a house on the street was reportedly smoking. It was leter extinguished.
April 11
@5:15 p.m.: Police called to Park Terrace Drive on a report of an outside fire. The small outside fire was put out quickly using a water can.
@6:36 p.m.: Police respond to Joan Avenue on a report of a past larceny. A woman told police her son's bike had been stolen.
@10:37 p.m.: Police called to the area of High Street and Broadway for a report of a hit and run resulting in property damage. A vehicle reportedly knocked down a stop sign. DPW was expected to pick up the damaged sign. Police to investigate.
April 12
@4:24 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. No injuries or tows reported.
April 13
@7:16 a.m.: Police called to an apartment complex on Franklin Street for a report of someone trapped in an elevator. The person was removed successfully. The elevator was shut down and management notified of the situation.
