Stoneham Man Accused of Assaulting Wife
At 9:26 p.m. Dec. 15, Stoneham Police responded to a Bancroft Place home for a report of a domestic in progress. A woman told officers that her husband allegedly broke into the home and assaulted her, according to police. Frank Walsh, 57, of 3 Bancroft Place, Stoneham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and witness intimidation.

Valuables Stolen From Stoneham Home
At 4:51 p.m. Dec. 18, police were called to Warren Street on a report of a past house break-in. The caller claimed that their home was broken into Dec. 17 and every valuable item in the house was stolem, according to police. Police filed a report.

Dec. 15
10:43 a.m.: Police responded to Round's Hardware on Main Street for a report of shoplifting. The caller reported that a male party allegedly stole several items and left the store in an unknown vehicle, according to police. Police filed a report.
10:53 a.m.: A person visited the Police Station to report a past breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. The person reported a vehicle was entered while parked in the Stop & Shop parking lot, according to police. No items reportedly stolem. Police filed a report.
11:19 a.m.: Police responded to Perkins Street for multiple reports of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. A tow truck was called for one vehicle, and the DPW and tree warden were also notified, according to police. Two people were transported to Lahey Clinic, according to police.
3:42 p.m.: Police called to Lindenwood Road on a report of several hypodermic needles found on a front lawn. Police recovered the items and disposed of them properly.
Dec. 16
11:11 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Central and William Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries reported. Police assisted with insurance paperwork exchange.
Dec. 17
8:04 a.m.: Police called to the area of Elm and Washington Streets for a report of a two-car accident. A tow truck was called to the scene, according to police. One person declined medical treatment, while another was transported to Winchester Hospital, according to police.
4:10 p.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue on a report of a two-vehicle accident. No EMS was needed, according to police. Police filed a report.
7 p.m.: Police called to the area of Franklin and Perkins Streets on a report of a motor vehice accident. No injuries or tows reported.
Dec. 18
11:04 a.m.: Police responded to Curve Road on a report of someone receiving harassing text messages. Police filed a report.
