Police Log: Stoneham Woman Arrested, Bag of 'Weed' Found and Vandalism

Stoneham Woman Arrested

At 4:22 p.m. Oct. 24, Stoneham Police responded to Newcomb Road on a report of a well-being check. A social worker requested a well-being check, according to police. Kelley McDougall, 26, of 58 Newcomb Road, Stoneham, was arrested on a warrant charging them with possession of a class A drug.

Drugs Found?

At 1:19 p.m. Oct. 24, police responded to Avalon Road on a report of drugs found in the area. The caller reported being given a bag of what appeared to be “weed” that was found outside in the area, according to police. The bag was picked up and dropped off at the police station, according to police.

Town Common Vandalism

At 11:53 a.m. Oct. 25, police responded to the Town Common for a report of vandalism. The caller reported the railing facing the police station has been vandalized, according to police. The DPW was notified and will handle, according to police.

Oct. 24

8:27 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. One vehicle was towed, and no transports, according to police.

9:08 a.m.: Police called to We Care Cleaners on a report of a past breaking and entering. Police to file a report. 

11:01 a.m.: Police responded to Citizens Bank for a report of a larceny. The caller reported unauthorized withdrawals from their account, according to police. Police to file a report.

1:11 p.m.: Police called to BJ’s Wholesale Club on a report of check uttering. The caller reported an unauthorized account opened and one of her checks was uttered, according to police. Police to file a report.

2:26 p.m.: Police called to Woodland Road for a report of a past larceny. Police to file a report.

2:42 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle was towed, and no transports, according to police.

6:06 p.m.: Police called to Spring Street for a report of solicitors. The caller complained about solicitors in the area, according to police. 

Oct. 25

1:22 a.m.: Police called to the intersection of Main Street and Montvale Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle fire. Officers reported the fire was extinguished, and the vehicle was towed, according to police.

9:10 a.m.: Police responded to Theresa Road on a report of pumpkins stolen from a woman’s yard sometime after midnight on back-to-back nights.
