Police Log: Stun Gun Solicitors, Melrose Man & Brockton Woman Arrested

At 2:15 p.m. Nov. 7, police called to Restone Shopping Center on a report of a man trying to sell stun guns to businesses. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a suit, carrying a red and white box with several stun guns inside, according to police. Another man was also spotted in a red SUV, and they were stopped in the parking lot, according to police. Police seized the evidence and summonses were sought.

Melrosian Arrested
At 8:52 p.m. Nov. 6, Stoneham Police responded to Main Street to check on a person who may have passed out in a vehicle. A tow truck was called for the vehicle and later towed it, according to police. Daniel Sinnott, 34, of 17 Ash St., Melrose, was arrested and charged with possession of a class B drug and possession of a class C drug.

Brockton Woman Arrested on Warrant
At 1:34 a.m. Nov. 7, police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Marie Avenue. Kristi Wilkes, 23, of 52 Massasoit Ave., Brockton, was arrested on a warrant charging her with larceny by check over $250.
Nov. 6
9:10 a.m.: Police called to Elm Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. However, the vehicle was gone on arrival, according to police.
1:55 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Both drivers exchanged insurance paperwork, according to police. No transports or tows reported.
5:25 p.m.: Police called to Woodland Road for a report of a two-car crash. No tows or transports logged.
5:29 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Chestnut Street and Montvale Avenue on a report of a two-car crash. No tows or transports logged. Both drivers exchanged insurance paperwork, according to police.
Nov. 7
8:40 a.m.: Police called to Lindenwood Cemetery for a report of several hypodermic needles found in the area. The needles were recovered and disposed of properly by an officer, according to police. A DPW employee observed a male and female occupants in a vehicle with Massachusetts license plates looking in the same spot for an extended time after the needles had been recovered, according to police.
12:06 p.m.: Police called to Stop & Shop Supermarket for a report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. The caller reported leaving the vehicle unlocked while they were in the store and a credit card was stolen from mthe vehicle, according to police. Police to file a report.
5:55 p.m.: Police responded to Pond Street for a report of a multi-vehicle accident near Stone Zoo. State Police was notified and handled the scene, according to police. One person was taken to Winchester Hospital, according to police.
7:46 p.m.: Police called to Elm Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported a dark colored jeep drove into the front of his house and then drove away toward Main Street, according to police. Police to file a report.
8:48 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a hit-and-run incident. Police to file a report.
8:49 p.m.: Police called to the area of Summer Street and Summerhill Street on a report of a two-car crash. No tows or transports logged.
Nov. 8
4:28 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Hancock and Main Streets on a report of a motor vehicle accident. No tows or transports logged.
7:11 p.m.: Police called to the area of Spring and Washington Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No tows or transports logged.
7:46 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Fellsway East and West Wyoming Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Officers were flagged down about the accident, according to police, and State Police were notified. Two patients refused transport, according to police. No tows logged.
