Nov. 15

@1:27 p.m.: A Summerhill Street resident phoned police after a neighbor allegedly dumped yard waste on his property.

@7:15 p.m.: Police responded to Central Street where a dog was struck by a motor vehicle. The dog’s owners took their injured pooch to the animal hospital.

@7:41 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street where a trash barrel was smoldering. It had been on fire but was extinguished with a can of water.

Nov. 16

@6:57 p.m.: Police and paramedics responded to the intersection of Franklin and Main Streets where a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to Winchester Hospital.

@10:32 p.m.: Police were called to a Central Street residence for a report of someone being threatened by his or her brother with a hunting knife.
