POLICE LOG: Four People Arrested in One Day in Stoneham

At 3:06 a.m. on March 11, Stoneham Police respond to to check on suspicious people at that location. Nicola Clark, 27, of 140 American Legion Highway, Boston, and Mark Mitchell, 52, of 181 Glenway St., Dorchester, were both arrested on multiple charges. Clark was charged with larceny under $250, receiving stolen property and larceny of a credit card, and he was also arrested on warrants charging him with not having a vehicle inspection sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Mitchell was charged with larceny under $250, receiving stolen property and larceny of a credit card, and he also was arrested on warrants charging him with credit card fraud over $250, receiving stolen property over $250 and two counts of larceny from a person. One vehicle was towed from the scene.  

At 8:26 p.m., police were called to Route 93 north south of Montvale Avenue for a report of a . James Milligan, 63, of Bedford, Mass., was allegedly drunk when he drove his vehicle the wrong way on the highway and struck multiple cars, injuring people in the process, according to State Police. He was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (OUI), leaving the scene of property damage accident, wrong way operation and OUI alcohol and causing a serious accident with personal injury, according to police, according to State Police. Four people were taken to Winchester Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while three of the four vehicles were towed from the scene, according to State Police. Milligan is slated for a March 20 arraignment in Woburn District Court.

At 8:56 p.m., police were called to Benton Street for a report of a domestic. Felisberto Docanto, 57, of 7 Benton St., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery after he allegedly punched his wife in the face.

@11:10 a.m.: Police called to Central Street on a report of vandalism. A "Welcome Home" banner was reportedly vandalized; however, the sign has since been repaired.

@1:40 p.m.: Police respond to Main Street on a report of a hit and run. A woman left the establishment only to find her vehicle had been struck and she believes the vehicle was hit by the vehicle parked next to hers. Police to investigate.
