POLICE LOG: Two Stoneham Women Arrested on Drug-Related Charges

On March 2, two Stoneham women were arrested on drug-related charges at their Main Street home.

Jennifer Sacco, 27, of 515 Main St., was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and violation of the drug-free school zone, police said.

Jazmin Sceppa, 19, of the same address as Sacco, was arrested and charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept and unlawful possession of ammunition, police said.

The arrests concluded a , who was allegedly involved in dealing drugs in the area, according to a press statement issued by Stoneham Police Department.

March 1

@8:07 a.m.: Police respond to the area of Green and Spring Streets for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a tree. Three people refused medical treatment. A tow truck was called to the scene.

@12:35 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a hit-and-run incident. About 10:30 a.m., a man was directing a funeral. A woman cut in line and when asked to move ran over his foot. The victim wasn't reportedly transported to a hospital.

@2:33 p.m.: Police respond to Crescent Avenue on a report that her door was possibly jimmied. Nothing reportedly stolen or missing.

@6:07 p.m.: Police called to on a report of theft. A customer reportedly filled her pocketbook with merchandise and left the store when the manager confronted her. The suspect was reportedly with another woman who appeared to be in her 70s and balding. Police to investigate.

@6:40 p.m.: Police respond to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident. No inuries reported, and both vehicles left the scene before police arrived at the scene.

March 2

@2:54 a.m.: Police called to San Jose Terrace for a report of an unwanted man outside the residence. The man was described as armed with knives. He reportedly fled the area in a vehicle with Massachusetts plates. Police attempted to stop him but he didn't stop. State Police were notified and checked the highway. No arrest was made.
