Police Log: Wakefield Woman Arrested, Charged With Assault and Battery; Fraudulent Purchases Made at Stop & Shop

Dec. 13
@9:25 a.m.: Police called to a single-car crash on Montvale Avenue. The motor vehicle struck a guard rail. No injuries reported. No tow reported.

@12:49 p.m.: Police respond to a domestic in progress. The alleged victim declined medical treatment. Danielle McNally, 31, of 32 Albion St., Wakefield, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
@1:46 p.m.: Police called to Montvale Avenue on a report of a hit and run. Police to investigate.

@2:59 p.m.: Police respond to the on Montvale Avenue for a report of an odor of gas on the first and second floors. A box alarm was triggered and the building was evacuated after a high carbon monoxide reading was discovered. The carbon monixide was cleared from the building and people returned to the building. Melrose and Winchester covered Stoneham Fire Station during the call. The box alarm was recalled at 4:13 p.m.
@5 p.m.: Police called to on a report of someone using a woman's credit card multiple times at the store, and each purchase was more than $700. Police to investigate.
@4:06 p.m.: Police respond to the area of Lynn Fells Parkway and Pond Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. State Police were notified. Two people were transported to Wakefield Hospital for further medical evaluation.
Dec. 14
@2:57 a.m.: Police respond to Hersam Street for a report of a loud party. The homeowner was spoken to and promised to keep the noise down for the night.
@7:26 a.m.: Police called to Leisure Lane apartments on a report of a peson trapped in the elevator on the second floor. Person was able to get out on the first floor six inches above the floor. Management notified of the problem.
@12:36 p.m.: Police respond to Central Animal Hospital on Central Street for a report that a woman and the owner discovered money stolen by an employee. Police to investigate.
Dec. 15
@11:33 a.m.: Police called to Newcomb Road for a report that a man's former business partner is allegedly using his social security number to get services. Police to investigate.
