POLICE LOG: Three Somerville Men Charged With Shoplifting at Marshalls

At 5:59 p.m. April 2, Stoneham police responded to for a report of shoplifting. The store's loss prevention team told officers that three men fled the store with stolen clothing. The trio were seen running behind Stoneham Bank in the area of Kenneth Terrace. One man was caught on Marie Avenue. Wakefield police assisted in the search for the other two men, who were later found trying ti hide in the woods of a golf course near High Street. Herman Abadi, 21, of 88 Wheatland St., and Kesher Lubin, 19, of 125 Alewife Brook Parkway, both of Somerville, were arrested and charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property. Stephen Berneaud, 20, of 10 Canal Lane, Somerville, was arrested and charged with one count of shoplifting.

April 3
@8:25 a.m.: Police called to the area of Graystone Road and Main Street on a report of a two-car accident. No injuries reported.
@2:35 p.m.: Police respond to Curtain Time on Main Street for a report of a possible past breaking and entering. No items reportedly stolen. Police to investigate.
@5:33 p.m.: A woman visited the police station to report a violation of a protective order. After locating him at the Mobile On the Run on Main Street, Louis Romani, 33, of 3 Lucy St., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order. He was served with a restraining order. Romani has been in less than a month.
@6:11 p.m.: Police called to Central Street on a report that a driver hit another driver's vehicle in the rear parking lot. Police logged the incident.
April 4
@11:49 a.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of vandalism to a building. Officers noted BB holes in a window. Police to investigate.
@12:31 p.m.: Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Pleasant and William Streets. No injuries reported. Police assisted with insurance paperwork exchange.
@2:17 p.m.: Police called to Franklin Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. A person involved in the crash was taken home by police. No injures reported.
@2:53 p.m.: Police receive a fraudulent purchase report from on Main Street. On April 2, a $513 unauthorized debit was made in Hong Kong. Police logged the entry; no investigation to follow.
April 5
@3:15 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a past assault and battery. Police to investigate.
@6:28 p.m.: Police respond to Gerry Street for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. No injuries reported.
@10:31 p.m.: Police called to South Marble Street on a report of an outside fire. A fire extinguisher was used to put out the blaze
