Police Seek Public's Help Catching Restaurant Robber

The man, whose face was caught on surveillance video, stole an undetermined amount of cash from the Franklin Street restaurant.

Stoneham Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who broke into a restaurant early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the Franklin Street restaurant for the reported breaking and entering, and received surveillance footage form the restaurant’s owner. The man’s face is clearly visible in the footage, aiding the investigation.

The robber, who was wearing sneakers, cargo shorts, a baseball cap, and a hooded sweatshirt, stole an undetermined amount of cash from the restaurant. He is believed to have been driving a small, lightly-colored four-door sedan that was spotted in a parking lot next door.

Chief James McIntyre reports that the Stoneham Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and arresting a man responsible for breaking into a restaurant early Sunday morning.
