I decided to do some research into the campaign finance reports of two local officeholders. Lo and behold, I found that State Senator Jason Lewis and State Rep. Michael Day have both received substantial support from lobbyists in the marijuana industry. The information below comes from the official reports filed with the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance as of 12/31/2017, and the Secretary of State's www registration records and disclosure reports submitted by lobbyists, lobbying entities, and their clients.
