Raymie Parker Announces Candidacy for Stoneham Selectwoman

Following many years of community service, running to bring spirit of collaboration and best governing practices to Board.

I know most of you are home today enjoying this winter snow day. Soup on the stove and cookies in the oven! If you are an essential worker, I appreciate you braving the weather to keep us safe. We are blessed.

I was thinking today would be a good day to tell you that I have pulled papers at town hall, and am going to ask you for your vote on Tuesday April 3, 2018 as I run for a seat on the Board of Selectman.

I ran for a seat four years ago, and even though unsuccessful, I am back again and willing to be involved for the betterment of Stoneham and its residents. Some of the things I discussed back then still need addressing. There are many new serious items that need to be discussed, and with continued dialogue and collaboration with other boards, I know I can be an effective partner on the BOS.

Working for the Town of Stoneham at the Police Department has given me a bird's eyes view of how Town departments operate, and how our municipal government works hard for and with our tax dollars. I truly believe that if we work together and not against each other, Stoneham can be successful in many of its endeavors.

Over the next few weeks, I will have more campaign information for you to read about. I hope that you will support me and my quest to be a proactive member of your Board of Selectman.

Enjoy the day!

Raymie Parker
