UPDATED: Stoneham Police Looking for Home Break-In Suspect Who Allegedly Stole a Laptop

The victim described the suspect as looking similar to that of former New England Patriots player Rodney Harrison, according to police. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a white SUV Friday shortly after noon.

A man who supposedly resembles former New England Patriot safety Rodney Harrison allegedly stole a laptop and confronted a Pomeworth Street homeowner with possibly a screwdriver following a home break-in Friday afternoon, according to Stoneham Police Lt. Jim McIntyre.

At 12:10 p.m., police received a call of a home break-in. The homeowner heard noises in their basement and discovered someone there, according to McIntyre.

After being spotted, the suspect exited the home - which he gained entry to through force and not an unlocked door - and moments later reappeared with a what appeared to be a screwdriver and confronted the homeowner, according to McIntyre. However, the homeowner was not harmed during the incident.
