UPDATED: Stoneham Police Seek Bank of America Robbery Suspect

Police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect.

STONEHAM, MA—Stoneham Police are asking for your help in identifying the suspect of a Robbery that occurred at Bank of America this morning.

Police responded to the bank at 10:20 a.m. this morning on a report of a robbery. According to video surveillance, the suspect handed a female bank teller a note demanding money, and made off with an unknown amount of cash.

“We are actively investigating this incident, along with the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force,” Stoneham Police Chief James McIntyre said in a statement. “If anyone was in the area at the time of the robbery, or recognizes this suspect, we ask that they immediately contact police.”

The man is described as being in his 40’s and approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. The description is of a man with a thin build, grey facial hair, thin wire rimmed glasses. The suspect was wearing a blue hoodie and dark pants with no mask or gloves.

Callers remain anonymous and a cash reward will be provided to anyone with information leading to an arrest.
