Robin Hood students ready to have a healthy summer!

SBCEF supports fun and energetic program about healthy eating and fitness

Students at Robin Hood Elementary School had a special visit from magician Brian Richards, who performed his bFit show for them in June. He wowed them with magic tricks, made them giggle with his silly jokes, all while imparting a message about the importance of healthy eating and exercise.

Students from preschool to grade 4 participated in the year end assembly where Brian challenged them all to eat Five A Day the Color Way so they can get 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Brian even taught the students a workout they can do at home, at school, or anywhere. It was quite a sight to see with almost 400 kids following along with this workout all together in a school gym!

This program was made possible through support of the Robin Hood PTO and a grant received from the Stoneham Business and Community Educational Foundation (SBCEF).

The Stoneham Business and Community Foundation (SBCEF) (www.sbcef.org) is a non-profit organization formed to develop a partnership among Stoneham's citizens, educational community, and business sector. Its goal is to promote the personal and educational growth of the town's youth. This organization has generously sponsored many wonderful events at Robin Hood throughout recent years, for which we are very grateful.
