This development will be the largest undertaking of this decade in Stoneham and will have far reaching changes to the character of Stoneham.  The ZBA must deliberate with due diligence and make an unbiased fair assessment and decision on whether to grant the permit, change the conditions of construction or totally deny it.

They have a heavy task on their agenda and must receive total support of the community, all town officials, and depts. boards and the residents of Stoneham.

The residents of Stoneham have spoken and provided at Special Town Meeting funds for additional legal help and consultants for the Selectmen to use wisely to assist and based on these experts the ZBA has assistance.  However we must not forget that there are experts and concerned residents who can support the ZBA.

The ZBA is relying on expert views from the Director of Public Works, our Town Engineer, the police and fire departments, our health inspector, the building inspector and the superintendent of schools to provide clear, concise data to use in their deliberation.

The members of all boards in our community:

must provide detailed expertise within their boundaries of providing positive service to our residents.  We realize all are volunteers who take time and effort to make Stoneham a great place to live and now it is vital to show how much these volunteers care about how Stoneham prospers.

We as homeowners and taxpayers have voiced our concerns, appropriated funds, sent letters and contacted all boards.  Now is the time for these vital employees and volunteers to support the ZBA and show what is best for Stoneham.  No abstentions, or absences are allowed.
