Rotary Club of Stoneham Prepares for Stoneham Town Day 2022
Rotary Members plan for their annual ice cream sundae sale
Members of the Rotary Club of Stoneham have begun preparing for their annual participation in Stoneham Town Day, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2022.
At its most recent luncheon meeting, the Club agreed that they would sell ice cream sundaes again this year to support the Club’s commitment to annual scholarships for graduating Stoneham High students and other community projects.
“We know how much Town Day attendees love our ice cream sundaes,” shares Public Image Chair Sharon Iovanni, “and we want to raise as much as we can to support our communities needs. This means that we will work extra hard and will need lots of hands to make it happen. But, with everyone’s contribution, we’ll get it done for sure!”

Club members hope to work with the Rotary’s Interact Club at Stoneham High School and to recruit some community volunteers to set up, scoop, sell and clean up throughout the day. Rotary Club of Stoneham works to provide scholarships for local students, funds to help with polio vaccinations to children in third-world countries, and assistance to local organizations that help senior citizens, veterans, children and families in need. Members are your neighbors, local business owners/employees, and organization representatives who want to work together to enhance life in Stoneham for everyone.
