Rudy DiMeco Sr. Passes Away

Rodolfo "Rudy" L. DiMeco Sr., of Stoneham, passed away on Monday March 12th. He was 80 years of age.

Beloved husband of Irene (DiMeco). Cherished father of Mary Christine Carta and her husband Vincent, Rudolph DiMeco Jr. and his wife Arlene, Mario DiMeco and his wife Piia. Loving grandfather of Vincent, Andrew, Kevin and Brian Carta, Samantha, Nicholas, Nathan, and Tristen DiMeco. Son of the late Mario and Melanina (Riccitelli). Dear brother of Sergio DiMeco and his wife Mercedes and Mauro DiMeco and his late wife Maria Benita.Dear brother in law of Rose Nocera and her late husband Antonio, Maria Viglietti and her husband Berardo, Anthony DiMeco and his wife Frances. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the owner of Rudy's Tailor Shop in Melrose for over 42 years.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) Stoneham, Saturday, March 17th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Rodolfo's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories Friday, March 16th from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
