SBCEF Supports Colonial Park Students through Art Classes
The Colonial Park PTO welcomed Theresa Gritti to lead students, grades Kindergarten through fourth, in an art class funded by the SBCEF.
For a second year, the Colonial Park PTO invited Theresa Gritti to lead students, grades Kindergarten through fourth, in a painting class. Each student learned a few basic techniques of painting and were able to turn a plain canvas into their own unique Valentine’s Day-themed masterpiece.
We are grateful to the Stoneham Business and Community Education Foundation (SBCEF) and MELD for making this enrichment program possible. Through their generous grant program that encourages innovation and creativity, the Colonial Park PTO is able to offer two additional programs annually that would not be available to students otherwise.
