Second Suspect in Stoneham Man's Murder Arrested: Police
BREAKING: 21-year-old Gary Duff-Turcotte was shot and killed in Everett back in November.

STONEHAM, MA — A second suspect in the murder and carjacking of a 21-year-old Stoneham man in November has been arrested, Everett Police Chief Steven Mazzie announced Monday. Clifton Jerimah Gumbs, 26, of Everett was arrested by detectives Monday and charged with murder, armed robbery, carjacking and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Gary Duff-Turcotte, 21, of Stoneham was shot and killed Nov. 6 in the area of Ferry and Chelsea Streets in Everett. Keith Herring, 27, of Boston was arrested on similar charges in November.
The DA's office said back in November that Herring had arranged to meet with Duff-Turcotte to purchase marijuana. It was further indicated that Herring had entered the victim's car and assaulted the victim as another unknown man wearing a ski mask approached the driver's side door.

Preliminary investigations suggested that the defendant was allegedly attempting to rob the vehicle and used the car to flee. When the victim refused to exit the vehicle, Herring allegedly shot him in the chest.
The victim ran from the vehicle, collapsing from the gunshot wound, according to the DA's office.
