Sen. Lewis & Rep. Day Announce $45,000 Community Planning Grant
The Town of Stoneham was awarded a $45,000 state grant to updates its Housing Production Plan.

BOSTON—State Senator Jason Lewis and State Representative Michael Day are pleased to announce that the Town of Stoneham was awarded a $45,000 Community Planning grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities.
The grant will be used by the town to update its Housing Production Plan.
“I’m thrilled that Stoneham is receiving this competitive Community Planning state grant,” said State Senator Jason Lewis. “This grant will be put to good use by the town to help address affordable housing needs.”

“Massachusetts faces a grave housing shortage across the state,” said State Representative Michael Day. “In Stoneham, we have been proactive in working towards our housing goals. I am proud to support our municipal leaders as we pursue state and federal funds needed to meet the needs of our residents.”
The Community Planning grant program is funded by the Massachusetts Legislature.
