Stoneham High School is an active educational community that prides itself on high standards of academic, athletic and artistic achievement, but the deteriorating and aging school building has become a limiting factor for continued excellence and success.

That’s why it’s so exciting that the Massachusetts School Building Authority, the state agency which helps finance public school facilities improvements, stands ready to contribute tens of millions of dollars to support the construction of a new Stoneham High School. Stoneham’s local and state elected and school officials have worked for many years to advance this project and bring Stoneham students the high school they deserve and need.

As Stoneham’s state senator, I urge the community to vote YES in the special election on November 2! After years of effort and advocacy, Stoneham has the chance to build a High School that will meet the community’s needs for many decades to come.
