Spartans boys and girls team enter tournament with same records, same hopes.

Apparently 10-8-2 are your lucky numbers this winter if you live in Stoneham.
The Spartans boys' and girls' hockey teams, each with the same record, learned their seeding Saturday for the MIAA postseason.
The boys are the No. 11 seed and will face No. 6 seed Tewksbury (13-5-2) on Tuesday at 6 p.m. If the Spartans win, they'll face No. 3 seed Danvers in the quarterfinals. Lowell Catholic is the top seed in the field at 16-2-2.

In a crowded Division 2 field that has 29 teams, Stoneham is seeded No. 23 at 10-8-2. The Spartans will face No. 10 seed Wellesley (13-4-3) on Wednesday in a preliminary round contest at Babson College. If they win, they'll play the winner of Westwood vs. Archbishop Williams in a first round game.
Notre Dame of Hingham is the top seed in the Division 2 field at 18-0-1.
