Stoneham 2016 Election Day Coverage: Unofficial Results are In

Here are Stoneham's unofficial election results.

STONEHAM, MA – The election results are in, and Stoneham voters have favored Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton over Republican Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

According to the preliminary results from the town clerk’s office, Clinton won 6,904 votes, compared to Trump’s 5,225 votes. However, Trump was victorious in the general election.

In local races, incumbent state Rep. Michael Day took victory in the 31st Middlesex district Rep. race over challenger Caroline Colarusso by a vote of 7,059 to 5,403. Sen. Jason Lewis also defeated Vincent Dixon in the 5th district Senatorial race.
