Stoneham Chamber Kicks Off "Keep the Cheer Here" Campaign

This year, more than ever, the Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to shop safely, shop local and shop Stoneham first. Beginning on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, the Chamber will offer several events and initiatives throughout the holiday season as part of a Keep the Cheer Here campaign.

Small Business Saturday
On Small Business Saturday keep your shopping local and take advantage of local specials, promotions and deals by visiting the Chamber's Holiday Special Offers page. Also, consider purchasing a Shop Local, Shop Stoneham Gift Certificate. Gift certificates may be used at several local favorite retail stores and restaurants with all of the proceeds go directly back to the businesses they are redeemed at. Gift certificates can be purchased online here, over the phone or in the chamber office beginning on Nov. 28th.

Drive-In Tree Lighting on the Town Common & Santa at StonehamBank
On Sunday, November 29, the Stoneham Chamber, in partnership with the Town of Stoneham, will host a re-imagined version of this popular annual event where residents will watch the tree lighting from their cars. StonehamBank will host a Drive-Thru Santa where young people are encouraged to bring their holiday wish lists to the bank and be greeted by Santa himself in the teller window. Also returning is the the popular Adopt-a-Holiday Tree on the Town Common.

The Tree Lighting on the Common is made possible by StonehamBank, Barile Family Funeral Homes, Excel Orthpaedic Specials and The Arbors at Stoneham Assisted Living.

Stoneham Holiday Parade
The Chamber is excited to team up with Stoneham Recreation Department, as well as Stoneham's Police and Fire departments, to offer a holiday parade on Saturday, December 12 from 11am-1:30pm. The parade will consist emergency vehicles, floats and Santa traveling all through Stoneham. Local organizations and youth groups are encouraged to participate by decorating a car or float for inclusion in the parade. For more information, click here.
