Stoneham Feels Virginia Earthquake: Did You?
Aftershocks from the 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Washington D.C. reportedly hit the Stoneham area. Post a comment if you felt the aftershocks and where you were when you felt them.

Stoneham residents reported feeling the rumbles of an earthquake that struck on Tuesday afternoon, although shaking was minimal in town and there were no reports of any damage.
At approximately 1:51 p.m. on Tuesday, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck at an epicenter 41 miles northwest of Richmond, VA, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) website. People can also report feeling the earthquake on the USGS website.
According to CNN, the Pentagon was evacuated and cell phone service has been disrupted in New York City, where parts of Manhattan have been evacuated.

Some buildings in Boston were temporarily evacuated as well for precautionary reasons, according to police radio reports.
Meanwhile, Joseph Rolli said the fire department hasn't received any calls related to the earthquake. The town's dispatch center also reported no call activity.

On the Stoneham Patch Facebook page, we've received reports from people in the Stoneham region that felt some shaking.
"Felt it a bit--but dog did he went crazy--could not understand why!" wrote Jeanne Craigie, chairperson of the Stoneham School Building Committee.
"Felt it in Woburn!" wrote Collette Catanzaro Sarmento.
Meanwhile, Sarah Harrington posted, "Felt it here in the North End at work, very scary."
