The Stoneham Fire Department recently received a $1,000 donation from a local real estate development organization
The donation will go toward purchasing a new Ladder Truck that will arrive next year.
Cummings Properties presented the fire department the donation through the Employee Directed Giving program.

The program allows Cummings Properties workers to donate $1,000 to a local charity of their choice.
The organization distributed a total of $326,000 through the Employee Directed Giving program in November 2014, according to Cummings Properties website.
