Stoneham Fire Log: Calls Down Post-Hurricane Irene

The responded to 59 calls for service, down 12 from the previous week, from Aug. 29-Sept. 4.

Aid requests (23 calls) topped the list of calls fielded by the department, followed by motor vehicle crashes (seven) and motor vehicle crashes with personal injury with six calls. Stoneham firefighters also provided mutual aid to  on Sept. 1.

August 30 was the busiest day of the week for firefighters, as they responded to 15 calls for service.
