Stoneham Fire Log: Firefighters Battle Three-Alarm Blaze at Congress Street Home [VIDEO]

The responded to 48 calls for service, down 18 from the previous week, from Oct. 10-16.

Aid requests (24 calls) topped the list of calls fielded by the department, followed by wires down, medical aid and fire investigations, each of which had four.

Firefighters were put to the test the morning of Oct. 10, when they battled . The damage caused by the blaze resulted in the house being razed for safety purposes.
