Next time you're looking to grab a great meal in Stoneham, forget about all the great restaurants in town. Consider heading over to the Stoneham Fire Department.

Saturday night in Danvers, three members of the Stoneham Fire Department proved that public safety isn't the only thing they know about. They also make a mean chicken chili.

At the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Cooking for a Cure fundraiser held at the Davensport Yacht Club, Dan Kelleher, Mike Labriola and Jim McLaughlin won several awards for their chicken chili dish, including top spot in the "Original Dish" category. The recipe is from Stoneham firefighter Chris Humber's wife, Kristen. The dish also earned second place in the "People's Choice" category and third place for "Judges' Choice."
