Football's Back! Stoneham Hopes To Build On Impressive 2016 Season

After a 7-4 season that included a Thanksgiving win over Reading, two playoff wins, and a spot in the Division 3A North title game, the Spartans are eager to get back on the field. Following is the Spartans' fall schedule along with the opponent's 2016 record.

Fri., Sept. 8, 6:30 p.m. – Archbishop Williams (6-4) at Stoneham

Fri., Sept. 15, 6:30 p.m. – Arlington (3-8) at Stoneham

Fri., Sept. 22, 7 p.m. – Stoneham at Burlington (4-7)

Thur., Sept. 28, 6:30 p.m. – Wakefield (5-6) at Stoneham

Fri., Oct. 6, 7 p.m. – Stoneham at Melrose (8-3)

Fri., Oct. 13, 6:30 p.m. – Watertown (9-2) at Stoneham

Fri., Oct. 20, 6:30 p.m. – Wilmington (3-8) at Stoneham

Oct. 27-28 – Start of MIAA playoffs or continuation of regular season

Thur., Nov. 23, 10 a.m. – Stoneham at Reading (8-4)
