Stoneham Football's Playoff Run Starts Saturday

STONEHAM, MA — The Stoneham Spartans football team have completed a 4-3 regular season, and are hoping to make a surprise run in the North Division 3A playoffs.

It all starts Saturday evening at 6 p.m., where the Spartans will take on the Shawsheen Tech Rams at Shawsheen. Stoneham is the No. 7 seed, and will be battling the No. 2 seed Rams in what will be the third game of the tournament.

With a victory Saturday evening, The Spartans will set a date with the winner of the game between Greater Lawrence and Ipswich. Dates and times for future matches have yet to be determined.
