Stoneham High School Among Those Receiving Bomb Threats Thursday
State police announced that more than 30 schools across the Commonwealth received threats.

STONEHAM, MA—More than 30 schools received automated 'robo-call' bomb threats Thursday, including Stoneham High School.
According to a release, Police received notification of the call at 8:11 a.m., and cleared the building by 9:23 a.m. The call was left on a staff member's voicemail.
"We are actively investigating this incident and whether or not it is related to other threats that were made in various communities today," Stoneham Chief James McIntyre said. "Thanks to the swift action of responders and school staff, we were able to quickly determine that this threat was not credible."

The building was placed on lockdown, and the threat was later determined not to be credible. No one was injured during the incident.
Stoneham High School faced its second threat this week, as classes were halted Monday due to a threat.
