The Stoneham Historical Society will meet Thursday with a special guest speaker. Back by popular demand local radio personality and author Doug "VB" Goudie will be discussing his latest book "A Frost in Hell". It is the true story of a brutal murder in the small Massachusetts town of Petersham in 1875. The murder and the events in its aftermath shocked the nation. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. to give you a chance to browse our latest exhibits. A short business meeting will start at 7:15 p.m. followed by our guest speaker's presentation. Admission is free. Stop by for what is sure to be an enjoyable evening. The Museum is located at 36 William Street, Stoneham.
