Stoneham Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

Stoneham Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

At 6:39 p.m. May 8, Stoneham Police responded to Elm Street for a report of a disturbance, according to a police log. James O'Brien, 46, of 98 Elm St., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime, according to the log. A report was taken.

May 8

1:27 p.m.: Police called to Franklin Street for a report of a restraining order violation, according to a police log. At 2:05 p.m., Shannon McMahon, 28, of 193 Park St., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with violating a restraining order in the police station lobby, according to the log. A report was taken.

3:52 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Cleveland Fence Inc. on Montvale Avenue for a report of a fight, according to a police log. Two men allegedly assaulted an older man carrying a pizza box, according to the log. The suspects were described as a black man and a white man, with long blond hair and possibly wearing a white tee shirt, according to the log. A male was taken to the Woburn line by police, according to the log. A report was taken.

5:19 p.m.: Police called to Fieldstone Drive for a report of unauthorized computer access to a male's computer, according to a police log. A report was taken.

May 9

8:57 a.m.: Police responded to the Hurd School on William Street for a report of vandalism, according to a police log. A student allegedly damaged a door at the school, according to the log. A report was taken.

9:05 a.m.: Police called to the intersection of Flint Avenue and Main Street for a report of an accident, according to a police log. Two patients declined medical transports, while one vehicle was towed, according to the log. 

10:37 a.m.: Police responded to Highland Avenue for a report of a larceny, according to a police log. The caller reported a box of copper fittings were stolen from a job site, according to the log. A report was taken.

May 10

6:02 a.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Whipple and Spring Streets for a report of a car into a police, according to a police log. Significant damage was done to a police, and NSTAR was notified and responded to the scene, according to the log. A person was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, according to the log.

7:18 a.m.: Police called to Montvale Avenue for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. Police assisted with the insurance paperwork swap, according to the log. 

2:21 p.m.: Police responded to an accident on Main Street, according to a police log. No transports reported, but one vehicle was towed from the scene.

3:37 p.m.: Police responded to an accident on Main Street, according to a police log. Both parties exchanged insurance paperwork, and one of the drivers had left before police arrived on scene, according to the log.

7:37 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a vehicular hit-and-run incident, according to a police log. The caller reported damage to the rear section of the driver's side, according to the log.
