Three Stoneham High Students Hospitalized After Drinking Party

The three teens are believed to be in the 9th grade between the ages of 14 and 15.

STONEHAM, MA — Three Stoneham High School students were hospitalized after a drinking party Friday night in town, according to Chief James McIntyre. Officers responded to the woods off Tedford Drive at approximately 9:30 p.m. for a person who needed medical attention, and found that a 15-year-old had been intoxicated to the point of needing to go to the hospital, according to McIntyre.

McIntyre added that officers on scene found another teen lying in the grass, and a parent driving to the scene found a third teen in need of medical attention. Both were transported to the hospital, and all are okay.

McIntyre told Patch that someone at the party realized the teen needed attention and contacted their family. He also added that Police have received calls in the past about teens gathering in the woods off Tedford Drive. All of the teens involved were between the ages of 14 and 15.
