Oct. 9

@12:19 a.m.: Police called to Rodgers Road on a report of a damaged light pole. Police to investigate incident.

@6:34 a.m.: Police respond to Sunset Road for a report of a breaking and entering into the resident's garage. Police to investigate incident.

@10:16 a.m.: A man visited the police station to speak with an officer about vandalism to his vehicle on Central Street. Police are looking into the incident and have no suspects currently.

@10:33 a.m.: Police receive a call about a dead raccoon in the road on Pond Street. DPW later picked up the raccoon.

@3:32 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of an abuse prevention order violation. Leandro Barreto-Mena, 19, of 299 Main St., Stoneham, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Oct. 10 

@4:34 a.m.: Police called to a Congress Street home for a report of a . No one was injured during the three-alarm fire and multiple fire departments provided mutual aid. The home was later demolished for safety purposes.

@7:33 a.m.: Police respond to the area of Maple and Poplar Streets after receiving several 911 calls about a transformer explosion with wires down. Problem later resolved.

@11:08 a.m.: Police called to the area of Congess and Winthrop Streets on a report of a cell phone found.

@11:55 a.m.: Police called to Mountain Vew Drive on a report of loud music. Party turned down music and problem resolved.

@6:06 p.m.: Police respond to a box alarm on Main Street. Burnt food triggered the alarm at the first floor apartment.

@7:35 p.m.: Police respond to a two-car accident on Main Street. Five people refused medical treatment.

@8:27 p.m.: Police called to Buttonwood Road on a report of a vehicle that was vandalized. Police to investigate incident.
