Oct. 13

@6:31 a.m.: Police called to Hanford Road on a report of a barking dog. The dog has been brought inside and the problem resolved.

@8:41 a.m.: Police respond to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Montvale Avenue. No injuries reported.

@9:05 a.m.: Police called to Gracewood Road on a report of a motor vehicle that was broken into. No items reportedly stolen.

@12:39 p.m.: Police respond to North Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles were towed from the scene by . No injuries reported.

@5:27 p.m.: Police called to Washington Street on reports of a possible sinkhole opening up. Officer notes small part of sidewalk has washed away slightly. DPW puts up a barrier and the contractor doing the job has been notified.

@5:28 p.m.: Police respond to the parking lot at on Main Street for a report that a woman's vehicle was struck while in the lot. Police to investigate incident.

Oct. 14

@12:31 a.m.: Police respond to the area of Franklin and Perkin Streets on a report of a motor vehicle that crashed into a rock wall and took off toward Melrose. Melorse Police Department notified. The vehicle was located at Harrison and North Avenue changing a tire. Police to investigate incident.

@8:01 p.m.: Police called to . About a dozen kids hanging out in the area were moved along.

@8:35 p.m.: Police called to Marble Street after receiving a report of a sewer backed up. DPW notified of the problem and responding.

Oct. 15

@2:11 p.m.: Police receive a call about a child locked inside a motor vehicle near the Spirit Halloween shop at Redstone Shopping Center. Problem resolved.

@3:30 p.m.: Police respond to Wright Street on a report of two wires down in the road. Unknown types of wires. Incident to be investigated.

@9:26 p.m.: Police called to Marble Street on a report of a large loud party near Lincoln, Marble and Congress Street. Party agreed to quiet down and band to stop playing at 10 p.m.
