Stoneham Police Log: Lowell Woman Arrested, Parties Broken Up Across Town By Officers

Here's a snapshot of some of the calls officers from the responded to recently:
July 8
- 4:46 p.m.: A person was trapped in an elevator at an apartment complex on Main Street due to a power outage. A ladder was used to force entry into the elevator and the person was able to exit the elevator.
- 5:03 p.m.: A man visited the Police Station to tell police he was cut off by another motor vehicle on Main Street and was forced to hit a crosswalk sign in the roadway. He left his information with officers and a safety officer was notified regarding the sign.
- 5:50 p.m.: Police responded to the Pond Street area on reports of several kids sitting in lawn chairs running out into oncoming traffic. Police told the kids to stop and the situation was resolved.
July 9

- 1:20 a.m.: While police were at a medical call on Franklin Street, a warrant was found on one of the individuals on scene. Police arrested Samantha Romano, 18, of 70 Perry St., Lowell, on a warrant charging her with disturbing the peace.
July 10
- 12:00 a.m.: Police received reports of a party on Emerald Court. Police spoke to a few adults who were just talking in the backyard and they agreed to move the party inside.
- 12:18 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street on reports of people talking and laughing loudly. The loud individuals promised to keep down the noise and the situation was resolved.
July 11

- 7:21 p.m.: Police responded to Central Street on a report of a GPS system stolen from a vehicle three days earlier. Police are investigating the incident.
- 10:44 p.m.: Police responded to a loud music complaint on Hancock Street. Party agreed to turn it down for the night.
